UV sterilizing box with wireless charging lid. Place your phone or other items such as keys, pens, jewellery and sunglasses into the box, close it and press the button to activate the UV-C lights inside. The UV-C light will kill certain microorganisms and bacteria which get onto these items during daily use.
UV sterilization works by breaking down certain chemical bonds and scrambling the structure of DNA, RNA and proteins, causing a microorganism to be unable to multiply. When a microorganism is unable to multiply, it is considered dead since it cannot reproduce within a host and is no longer infectious. It should take 5 – 10 minutes to sterilize small objects like keys, jewellery and phones.
UV light kills bacteria, fungi and most viruses, though it has not been conclusively proven to kill all viruses.
Wireless charging-enabled phones can be charged by placing the phone on top of the box lid and activating the wireless charging function.
